Soirée explosive au Club Soda : Bruiserweight, Scorching Tomb, Blind Witness et Despised Icon!
Le 6 décembre dernier, le Club Soda s’est transformé en véritable arène de décibels où la sueur, l’énergie brute et la passion pour le metal extrême ont fusionné. J’étais plus qu’excité de couvrir cet événement qui a réuni quatre formations prêtes à tout pour faire trembler les murs.
Bruiserweight ouvre le bal avec un set concis, mais furieusement efficace. Leur son massif et leurs riffs percutants ont rapidement mis la foule en mouvement, déclenchant les premiers moshpits de la soirée. À cause d’un contretemps, j’ai malheureusement manqué une partie de leur set, ce qui explique le nombre limité de clichés.
BRUISERWEIGHT
L’intensité a grimpé d’un cran avec Scorching Tomb, dont les sonorités sombres et l’ambiance suffocante ont transporté le public dans un univers aussi captivant qu’oppressant.
SCORCHING TOMB
Puis, l’arrivée de Blind Witness a marqué un véritable tournant. Avec une performance explosive, le groupe a déclenché une frénésie générale, multipliant le body surfing et les stage dives à un rythme effréné. La foule était en transe, répondant à chaque breakdown avec une énergie contagieuse, faisant vibrer les murs du Club Soda.
BLIND WITNESS
La soirée a atteint son apogée avec Despised Icon. Les vétérans du deathcore ont livré un set magistral, enchaînant les morceaux emblématiques avec une précision chirurgicale. Leurs breakdowns ravageurs et la puissance vocale déchaînée ont littéralement soulevé la foule. L’ambiance était survoltée, et le public n’en avait clairement pas fini, marqué par un body surfing incessant et des plongeons à partir de la scène particulièrement spectaculaires.
En résumé? Une soirée complètement folle où le Club Soda a tremblé au rythme de la rage et de la passion. Un événement inoubliable pour tous les amateurs de metal extrême. Si vous y étiez, vous savez de quoi on parle. Sinon… vous avez manqué un moment d’anthologie, mais vous aviez l’occasion de vous reprendre le lendemain pour la deuxième partie de Despised Icon avec Beneath the Massacre, Apes et Primal Horde.

An explosive night at Club Soda: Bruiserweight, Scorching Tomb, Blind Witness and Despised Icon!
On December 6, Club Soda turned into a true arena of decibels where sweat, raw energy and a shared passion for extreme metal collided. I was beyond excited to cover this event, which brought together four bands ready to shake the walls to their foundations.
Bruiserweight kicked off the night with a short but brutally effective set. Their massive sound and crushing riffs quickly got the crowd moving, igniting the first mosh pits of the evening. Due to a scheduling issue, I unfortunately missed part of their set, which explains the limited number of photos.
The intensity rose another notch with Scorching Tomb, whose dark tones and suffocating atmosphere pulled the audience into a world that was both captivating and oppressive.
The arrival of Blind Witness marked a clear turning point. With an explosive performance, the band unleashed total chaos, with constant body surfing and stage dives at a relentless pace. The crowd was in a trance, answering every breakdown with contagious energy, making the walls of Club Soda shake.
The night reached its peak with Despised Icon. The deathcore veterans delivered a masterful set, blasting through their iconic songs with surgical precision. Their devastating breakdowns and unhinged vocal power literally lifted the crowd off the floor. The atmosphere was electric, and the audience was far from done, with nonstop body surfing and some truly spectacular dives from the stage.
In short? A wild night where Club Soda shook to the rhythm of rage and passion. An unforgettable event for any extreme metal fan. If you were there, you know exactly what we mean. If not… you missed a legendary moment, but you had a chance to make up for it the next night with the second Despised Icon show featuring Beneath the Massacre, Apes, and Primal Horde.
