Blinded by Faith à La Sainte Paix
Tournée 30e anniversaire de Blinded by Faith
Le 17 avril dernier, le Pub La Sainte Paix de Drummondville a accueilli une soirée métal québécoise mémorable, réunissant quatre groupes talentueux : Brotherhood of Blood, Born Divided, Alyksir et les légendaires Blinded by Faith, qui célébraient leurs 30 ans d’existence.
Brotherhood of Blood a lancé la soirée avec une énergie brute et efficace, mais avec un brin de ridicule (mention spéciale au guitariste avec la casquette à hélice). Même si leur set était relativement court, ils ont su réchauffer la salle avec un death metal sans compromis. Leurs riffs tranchants et leur batterie percutante ont rapidement mis l’ambiance.
BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD
Born Divided a ensuite pris le relais avec une performance plus technique et nuancée. Leur précision et leur maîtrise de la scène ont séduit le public, proposant des compositions progressives qui ont captivé les amateurs de métal plus complexe.
BORN DIVIDED
Alyksir, en troisième position, a apporté une intensité supplémentaire. Leur charisme sur scène et leurs chansons entraînantes ont créé une atmosphère électrique dans la salle. Le public, déjà bien réceptif, a répondu avec enthousiasme, donnant encore plus d’énergie au groupe.
ALYKSIR
Enfin, Blinded by Faith a clôturé la soirée avec panache dans le cadre de leur tournée des 30 ans. Leur set, véritable voyage à travers leur discographie, a rappelé pourquoi ils sont considérés comme des piliers de la scène black/death mélodique québécoise. La foule a particulièrement réagi aux classiques intemporels, chantant et levant les poings en hommage à ces vétérans.
La soirée à La Sainte Paix a été un vrai succès! On a eu droit à des performances variées et puissantes, un public super passionné et une ambiance qui rappelait les grandes soirées métal de Drummondville. Bref, une soirée mémorable!

30th Anniversary Tour of Blinded by Faith
On April 17, Pub La Sainte Paix in Drummondville hosted a memorable Quebec metal night, bringing together four talented bands: Brotherhood of Blood, Born Divided, Alyksir, and the legendary Blinded by Faith, who were celebrating their 30th anniversary.
Brotherhood of Blood kicked off the night with raw and effective energy, but with a touch of ridiculousness (special mention to the guitarist with the propeller cap). Even though their set was relatively short, they managed to warm up the crowd with uncompromising death metal. Their sharp riffs and pounding drums quickly set the tone.
Born Divided then took over with a more technical and nuanced performance. Their precision and stage presence impressed the audience, offering progressive compositions that captivated fans of more complex metal.
Alyksir, in the third slot, brought an extra level of intensity. Their stage charisma and catchy songs created an electric atmosphere in the venue. The already receptive crowd responded enthusiastically, giving even more energy back to the band.
Finally, Blinded by Faith closed the night in style as part of their 30th anniversary tour. Their set, a true journey through their discography, reminded everyone why they are considered pillars of the Quebec melodic black/death scene. The crowd reacted strongly to the timeless classics, singing along and raising their fists in tribute to these veterans.
The night at La Sainte Paix was a real success! We were treated to varied and powerful performances, a highly passionate crowd, and an atmosphere reminiscent of the great metal nights in Drummondville. In short, a memorable evening!
