LASSO, la célébration de tous ces petits détails de la vie qui la rendent si belle! Une bière, un whiskey, un chapeau de cowboy ou une chanson sur un tracteur, bon, ce n’est plus juste ça le country, mais câline… ça fait du bien des fois!!
Pour venir à LASSO, aimer le country n’est pas tant un prérequis! Encore plus en 2026, où les styles se mélangent, et le country en fait partie! Tantôt pop, tantôt soul, tantôt rock. Une chose reste : tu veux passer un bon moment, danser, prendre un verre en écoutant de la musique accrocheuse aux refrains entraînants? C’est la place! Une ambiance festive à souhait, du beau monde et surtout une fraternité hors du commun.
Ce fut un honneur pour moi de capturer certains moments, dont voici mes préférés.
Au niveau des artistes, mes coups de cœur sont sans hésitation Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, Jonah Kagen, Mumford and Sons et… Cameron Whitcomb, qui a littéralement fait exploser le parc Jean-Drapeau.
Je ne le dirai jamais assez, vous n’avez pas tant besoin d’aimer le country ou les chapeaux de cowboy pour passer un bon moment, juste être ouvert aux différents styles de musique et, promis, vous serez charmés!

LASSO is a celebration of all those little details in life that make it so beautiful! A beer, a whiskey, a cowboy hat or a song about a tractor… well, country music is no longer just that, but damn… sometimes it just feels good!!
To come to LASSO, loving country music is not really a prerequisite! Especially in 2026, when styles blend together, and country is part of that mix. Sometimes pop, sometimes soul, sometimes rock. One thing remains: if you want to have a good time, dance, grab a drink and listen to catchy music with memorable choruses, this is the place! A festive atmosphere, great people and, above all, an incredible sense of community.
It was an honor for me to capture some of these moments, and here are a few of my favorites.
When it comes to the artists, my highlights were without hesitation Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, Jonah Kagen, Mumford and Sons and… Cameron Whitcomb, who literally blew up Parc Jean-Drapeau.
I will never say it enough: you do not really need to love country music or cowboy hats to have a good time. You just need to be open to different styles of music and, I promise, you will be won over!
