Fidèles à leur habitude, Les Productions Ça Bûche ont encore organisé un show explosif pour le Festival des Guitares du Monde de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue (FGMAT), mettant cette fois en vedette la crème du hardcore et du deathcore de la Capitale-Nationale.
Malgré la 2e game de la finale de l’Est de la Coupe Stanley opposant les Habs aux Hurricanes, le QG était bien rempli… et il était toujours possible de suivre le score à la mezzanine!
Digital Ghosts a entamé la soirée avec son metalcore bien ficelé, bourré de mélodies accrocheuses. La formation de la Capitale du cuivre gagne définitivement en assurance et en fans et on s’attend à les voir de plus en plus souvent sur les stages de la Belle Province.

Spitpool a poursuivi les hostilités. Première des deux formations de Québec, le groupe suivait Get the Shot en mini-tournée, se terminant à Rouyn-Noranda. Au QG, on a trashé et on a headbangé au son décapant du slam/deathcore de Spitpool, se défoulant au passage de la défaite du CH.

Le défouloir s’est prolongé avec le clou du spectacle, Get the Shot, bientôt en tournée européenne avec Lionheart. Le QG a vibré sous des décibels explosifs; l’ambiance était endiablée pour la formation hardcore de Québec. De 7 à 77 ans, le métal de Rouyn-Noranda s’est déchaîné dans le mosh pit.

Maintenant, Les Productions Ça Bûche finalisent les préparatifs pour l’arrivée attendue de Mononc’ Serge et d’Anonymus ainsi que de Rouge Pompier. Gageons que le show métal du FGMAT n’était qu’une simple pratique!

True to form, Les Productions Ça Bûche once again put on a thunderous show as part of le Festival des Guitares du Monde (FGMAT), this time featuring the cream of the crop of the National Capital’s hardcore and deathcore scenes.
Despite Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Eastern Final—Habs vs. Hurricanes—the QG was packed, and the mezzanine showed the score!
Digital Ghosts kicked off the evening with their tight metalcore, packed with catchy melodies. The band from Rouyn-Noranda is definitely gaining confidence and fans, and we expect to see them on stages across Quebec more and more often.
Following Digital Ghosts, Spitpool took the stage next. The first of two bands from Quebec City, the band was following Get the Shot on a mini-tour, with their final stop in Rouyn-Noranda. At the QG, we went wild and headbanged to the blistering sound of the band’s slam/deathcore, even letting off steam over the Habs’ loss.
The energy peaked as the evening’s headliner, Get the Shot, followed. Soon set to tour Europe alongside Lionheart, they sent decibels soaring at the QG. The atmosphere was electric for the Quebec City hardcore band. From ages 7 to 77, the Rouyn-Noranda metal crowd had a blast in the mosh pit.
Les Productions Ça Bûche is now gearing up for the highly anticipated shows featuring Mononc’ Serge, Anonymus, and Rouge Pompier. The FGMAT metal night was just the first thunderclap; the best is yet to come.
