On peut toujours compter sur Geneviève Dumont et ses Productions Ça Bûche pour présenter parmi les shows les plus dark de la Belle-Province. Le samedi 22 août n’a pas fait exception.
La Mort du Soleil a envoûté le QG avec sa prestation entièrement improvisée. Le quatuor a livré son 4e show ever, penchant davantage vers le doom et le noise, m’a prise aux tripes. Comme l’indiquait Simon Turcotte (Guhn Twei, à la bass), c’est raw.

Miserere Luminis, le clou du spectacle, a livré un show particulièrement hypnotique. La formation de Montréal, qui a lancé son dernier opus, Sidera, en mars dernier, a mis la table pour un black metal atmosphérique poignant sur lequel on s’est laissé bercer au QG pendant que les cieux s’abattaient sur Rouyn-Noranda.

You can always count on Geneviève Dumont and her Productions Ça Bûche to present some of the darkest shows in the Belle Province. Saturday, August 22, was no exception.
La Mort du Soleil captivated the QG with their entirely improvised performance. The quartet delivered their fourth show ever, leaning more toward doom and noise—it really hit me in the gut. As Simon Turcotte (Guhn Twei, on bass) put it, it’s raw.
Miserere Luminis, the highlight of the evening, delivered a particularly hypnotic performance. The Montreal-based band, which released its latest album, Sidera, last March, set the stage for poignant, atmospheric black metal that lulled us at the QG while the skies rained down on Rouyn-Noranda.
