MATT LANG SAUVE LES MEUBLES
Appelé en renfort pour remplacer Nate Smith, retenu par des problèmes de santé, et le tout organisé en moins de 24 heures, Matt Lang a su, comme d’habitude, shaker les planches de la scène de la place George-V. C’était plein à craquer !
Il continue de faire son chemin et, vraiment, ceux qui ne le connaissaient pas sont devenus fans aussitôt, c’est certain !
Quelle énergie il dégage, avec une présence sur scène digne des plus grands artistes américains. Il s’est même permis d’excellentes reprises de Green Day, Blink-182, Linkin Park, Aerosmith et ZZ Top, entre autres.

En ouverture, le Canadien Jade Eagleson a su réchauffer avec brio la foule rassemblée grâce à son country traditionnel à la Alan Jackson.

Un peu plus difficile pour l’artiste qui jouait juste avant, Alli Walker : malheureusement, une musique quelque peu sans saveur.

Par contre, Brittany Kennell… Wow ! Quelle belle découverte. Si vous mélangez Sheryl Crow et Miranda Lambert, vous obtenez Brittany Kennell, qui a livré une excellente performance. Chapeau Brittany !
Malheureusement, j’ai manqué presque toute la performance de Fred Dionne, mais ce que j’ai entendu était bien bon !

MATT LANG SAVES THE DAY
Called in as backup to replace Nate Smith, who was stuck dealing with health issues — all put together in less than 24 hours — Matt Lang still managed, as usual, to shake up the stage at Place George-V. The place was packed to the brim!
He keeps making his mark and honestly, those who didn’t know him before became instant fans — no doubt about it!
He brings such energy, with a stage presence worthy of the greatest American artists. He even threw in some excellent covers of Green Day, Blink-182, Linkin Park, Aerosmith, and ZZ Top, among others.
To kick things off, Canadian artist Jade Eagleson did a great job warming up the crowd with his Alan Jackson-style traditional country.
It was a bit tougher for Alli Walker, who played just before — unfortunately, her music felt a bit bland.
On the other hand, Brittany Kennell… Wow! What a great discovery. If you mix Sheryl Crow and Miranda Lambert, you get Brittany Kennell, who delivered an outstanding performance. Hats off to you, Brittany!
Unfortunately, I missed almost all of Fred Dionne’s set, but what I did catch was really good!
