La formation heavy metal METAL CHURCH sortira son 13e album « Congregation Of Annihilation » le 26 mai 2023 via Rat Pak Records (Amérique) et Reaper Entertainment (Europe). Il s’agira du premier album depuis le décès du chanteur Mike Howe en juillet 2021. Dorénavant, le poste de chanteur est occupé par Marc Lopes (Ross The Boss, Let Us Prey) depuis l’été dernier. Le groupe est composé du guitariste fondateur Kurdt Vanderhoof, du guitariste Rick Van Zandt, du bassiste Steve Unger et du batteur Stet Howland. Les nouvelles chansons sont un retour aux racines musicales du groupe, aux vibrations du premier album éponyme et de « The Dark ». « Congregation Of Annihilation » a été produit par Vanderhoof et est maintenant disponible en pré-commande dans différents formats et ensembles.
