Voici le moment de vous présenter le deuxième long jeu du groupe Kanonenfieber. Prenant naissance dans les entrailles de la ville de Bamberg en Allemagne, la formation commence à implanter ses racines froides en 2020. Près d’un an plus tard, leur premier album Menschenmühle est dévoilé, suivi de plusieurs EP et singles avant d’offrir ce second opus de 52 minutes.
Kanonenfieber nous fait remonter le temps, un temps noir de l’histoire de l’humanité. Il est ici question de la Première Guerre mondiale. Nonobstant le lourd passé de leur patrie, ils sont très engagés lyriquement contre la violence et les guerres, et insistent sur le fait que Die Urkatastrophe est dédié aux victimes de ce tragique événement.
Les paroles de ce projet sont basées sur des rapports réels, lettres et documents provenant de soldats ayant trépassé au combat et de certains qui en sont sortis “indemnes”. Nul besoin de mentionner que l’ambiance est très lourde ; durant l’écoute de l’album, la rage et la tristesse sont très bien ressenties. L’entrée en jeu est violente avec la première pièce et se termine sur une note dramatique avec Als die Waffen Kamen…
Participation spéciale de Kristian Kohle (Benighted, Aborted, Powerwolf) lors de l’enregistrement et de Maik Weichert (Heaven Shall Burn), qui ajoute son talent de guitariste sur Waffenbrüder.
Un vibrant hommage poignant qui saura satisfaire les fans d’histoire.

Here is the moment to present the second full-length album of the band Kanonenfieber. Born from the depths of the city of Bamberg in Germany, the band began to establish its cold roots in 2020. Nearly a year later, their first album, Menschenmühle, was released, followed by several EPs and singles before offering this second opus of 52 minutes.
Kanonenfieber takes us back in time, to a dark period in human history. This is about World War I. Despite the heavy past of their homeland, they are very lyrically engaged against violence and wars, and emphasize that Die Urkatastrophe is dedicated to the victims of this tragic event. The lyrics of this project are based on real reports, letters, and documents from soldiers who perished in battle and from some who emerged “unscathed.” It goes without saying that the atmosphere is very heavy; during the listening of the album, rage and sadness are profoundly felt. The opening is violent with the first track and ends on a dramatic note with Als die Waffen Kamen…
Special participation by Kristian Kohle (Benighted, Aborted, Powerwolf) during the recording and Maik Weichert (Heaven Shall Burn), who adds his guitar talent on Waffenbrüder.
