La formation new-yorkaise Titanosaur poursuit sur sa lancée avec la sortie de son plus récent extrait, « Holding On To The Light », disponible sur toutes les plateformes numériques depuis le 5 juin 2026.
Le groupe propose un mélange énergique de Heavy Metal, de Stoner Metal et de Punk Rock, avec des influences rappelant Motörhead, Monster Magnet et une touche des Ramones.
Cette nouvelle chanson fait suite à « This Hell », dévoilée en mars dernier, ainsi qu’à « Fire in the Hole », lancé en avril, et offre un nouvel aperçu de la direction musicale qu’emprunte la formation.
Au-delà de son énergie musicale, « Holding On To The Light » véhicule un message profondément personnel. Le chanteur et musicien Geoff Saavedra commente:
« J’ai écrit Holding On To The Light en pensant tout particulièrement à toutes les personnes autistes que je vois faire énormément d’efforts pour s’intégrer. Elles ne comprennent pas pourquoi les personnes neurotypiques n’ont pas à essayer aussi fort.
Aujourd’hui, le 18 juin, c’est la Journée de la fierté autiste.
J’ai eu la chance que mon meilleur ami m’aide à découvrir qui je suis vraiment : un dinosaure punk rock.
Je garde la lumière allumée pour tout le monde. Si vous traversez une période difficile, envoyez-moi un message. Je vous rappellerai à quel point vous êtes forts. »
Titanosaur a également confirmé être présentement en studio afin de travailler sur son prochain album. Aucun détail concernant le titre ou la date de sortie n’a encore été annoncé.

Titanosaur delivers a message of hope to autistic people with « Holding On To The Light »
The New York-based band Titanosaur continues its momentum with the release of its latest single, « Holding On To The Light, » available on all digital streaming platforms since June 5, 2026.
The group delivers an energetic blend of Heavy Metal, Stoner Metal, and Punk Rock, with influences reminiscent of Motörhead, Monster Magnet, and a touch of the Ramones.
The new track follows « This Hell, » released in March, as well as « Fire in the Hole, » which came out in April, offering another glimpse into the musical direction the band is taking.
Beyond its driving sound, « Holding On To The Light » carries a deeply personal message. Singer and musician Geoff Saavedra comments:
« I wrote Holding On To The Light thinking specifically about all the autistic people I see who are trying really hard to fit in. And they don’t understand why neurotypical people don’t have to try so hard.
Today, June 18, is Autistic Pride Day.
I was lucky to have my best friend help me find who I am — a Punk rocking dinosaur.
I’m holding the light for everyone. You feeling down, send me a message. I’ll remind you how strong you are. »
Titanosaur has also confirmed that it is currently in the studio working on its upcoming album. No details regarding the title or release date have been announced yet.
