Le groupe metalcore cinématique de Québec Polygraph revient en force avec la sortie de sa toute nouvelle chanson et de son vidéoclip intitulés « Aconite ». Une autre solide pièce pour la formation québécoise, qui continue de puiser dans un univers sonore où se mêlent metalcore, électro et ambiance cinématographique-cybernétique.
Symbole d’une beauté mortelle, l’aconite évoque cette dualité entre l’attraction et le danger — un écho parfait à l’intensité et aux contrastes de la musique de Polygraph. Cette plante, aussi belle que trompeuse, est toxique de la racine à la fleur et a même déjà servi de poison pour des flèches ou des appâts. Bref, attention !
Avec ce nouveau vidéoclip de qualité, Polygraph confirme encore une fois sa force de frappe, offrant un matériel aussi puissant musicalement que visuellement. L’alternance entre le chant clair et le growl se démarque à nouveau, d’autant plus que, contrairement à d’autres groupes, ce sont deux chanteurs différents qui se partagent ces styles — ce qui ajoute une texture supplémentaire aux mélodies. Des riffs efficaces, un son immersif : Polygraph consolide sa place dans le paysage metal québécois et reste un nom à surveiller de près.
