Enfin un peu de nouveau pour le groupe suédois ELEINE qui sortira un EP le 5 septembre prochain via le label Reigning Phoenix Music. Avec un mélange d’enregistrement studio et live, le groupe suédois aux multiples facettes espère offrir aux fans un aperçu de ce qui s’en vient ainsi que d’où ils viennent.
L’univers sonore envoûtant de l’EP, We Stand United, comprend deux morceaux inédits : une intro intitulée « Towards The Fields » et le titre éponyme; un futur favori live. De plus, deux titres live enregistrés aux Masters of Rock 2024 et une version symphonique de « Promise Of Apocalypse ». Un son obscur, imposant et puissant, mettant en valeur les capacités vocales de la chanteuse, les riffs puissants et la batterie explosive.
L’introduction bourdonnante et profondément inquiétante dans sa manifestation obscure, captivant l’auditeur par une impatience intense.
« We Stand United » émerge avec une fureur de riffs de guitare et un rythme de marche menaçant. L’arrangement atmosphérique emblématique d’ELEINE frappe avec intensité grâce au chant charismatique et envoûtant de Madeleine, accompagné des grognements féroces et rauques de Rikard, le guitariste. Le refrain accrocheur est assurément celui que les fans chanteront longtemps.
« Never Forget [Live at Masters of Rock 2024] » et « We Are Legion [Live at Masters of Rock 2024] » révèlent comment le groupe peut avoir du dynamisme lors des performances live d’ELEINE. We Stand United se termine par la version symphonique de « Promise Of Apocalypse ».
Pour ma part, cet EP m’a ouvert la porte sur le monde d’ELEINE, un groupe doux mais épicé par bouts avec une chanteuse à la voix angélique.

Finally, some new material from the Swedish band ELEINE, who will release an EP on September 5 via Reigning Phoenix Music. With a mix of studio and live recordings, the multifaceted Swedish band hopes to give fans a glimpse of what lies ahead as well as where they came from.
The mesmerizing soundscape of the EP, We Stand United, includes two brand new tracks: an intro titled “Towards The Fields” and the title track; a future live favorite. In addition, two live tracks recorded at Masters of Rock 2024 and a symphonic version of “Promise Of Apocalypse.” A dark, imposing, and powerful sound, showcasing the singer’s vocal abilities, the crushing riffs, and explosive drumming.
The buzzing and deeply unsettling introduction manifests a dark atmosphere, captivating the listener with an intense anticipation.
“We Stand United” bursts forth with a fury of guitar riffs and a menacing marching rhythm. ELEINE’s signature atmospheric arrangement hits hard with Madeleine’s charismatic and enchanting vocals, accompanied by Rikard’s fierce and raspy growls on guitar. The catchy chorus is without a doubt one fans will be singing for a long time.
“Never Forget [Live at Masters of Rock 2024]” and “We Are Legion [Live at Masters of Rock 2024]” reveal how the band can unleash energy and dynamism during ELEINE’s live performances. We Stand United concludes with the symphonic version of “Promise Of Apocalypse.”
For me, this EP opened the door to the world of ELEINE, a band both gentle and fiery at times, with a singer blessed with an angelic voice.
