Pincez-moi quelqu’un ! Bruce Dickinson au MTelus !
L’un des – sinon le – plus grand chanteur metal nous rendait visite avec son band solo pour présenter son dernier et excellent album The Mandrake Project.
Car Bruce Dickinson, ce n’est pas seulement le chanteur de Maiden. Il a aussi une brillante carrière solo avec plusieurs albums à son actif. Cette tournée vise donc à mettre en valeur non seulement son plus récent album, mais également l’ensemble de son parcours en solo. De Balls to Picasso au plus récent, en passant par Accident of Birth et The Chemical Wedding.
En plus de faire revivre ces pièces rarement jouées live, Bruce a surpris tout le monde en offrant une chanson de Maiden. Mais encore là, une rareté qui a fait bondir de joie les fans du MTelus : « Flash of the Blade » de l’album Powerslave, précédée d’un extrait a cappella de « Revelations ». Sur cette tournée, Bruce se fait plaisir, il a un fun fou sur scène à interpréter ses chansons, et ses musiciens embarquent totalement avec lui. Résultat : un spectacle encore plus vivant et mémorable.
Il a encore la voix, ça ne fait aucun doute, et le fait de pouvoir revivre ses chansons solo a rendu cette soirée inoubliable !

À noter : Noor a ouvert la soirée avec brio ! Un autre excellent groupe metal d’ici! Évoluant un style heavy metal puissant, le groupe commence connu de se faire connaître et il a lancé plus tôt cette année le single Follow The Light. D’ailleurs, on ressent beaucoup leurs influences à Iron Maiden et Helloween. À surveiller (et découvrir) !

Pinch me, someone! Bruce Dickinson at the MTelus!
One of the – if not the – greatest metal singers visited us with his solo band to present his latest and excellent album The Mandrake Project.
Because Bruce Dickinson is not only the singer of Maiden. He also has a brilliant solo career with several albums to his name. This tour aims to showcase not only his most recent record but his entire solo career. From Balls to Picasso to the most recent, passing through Accident of Birth and The Chemical Wedding.
In addition to reviving songs rarely played live, Bruce surprised everyone by offering a Maiden track. And once again, a rarity that made fans at the MTelus erupt with joy: “Flash of the Blade” from the album Powerslave, preceded by an a cappella excerpt of “Revelations.” On this tour, Bruce is clearly enjoying himself, having a blast performing his songs, and his musicians are right there with him, making the show even more vibrant and memorable.
He still has the voice, there’s no doubt about it, and being able to relive his solo material made this night unforgettable!
Worth noting: Noor opened the evening brilliantly! Another excellent metal band from here!
