La formation rock Evanescence sortira son premier album en 10 ans, 'The Bitter Truth', le 26 mars 2021 via BMG. Les fans peuvent acheter l'album en prévente en version numérique, CD, vinyle et édition limite deluxe avec un CD boni, journal, affiche et une édition cassette exclusive du making of de "The Bitter Truth". Tous les achats en prévente recevront les pièces "Wasted On You", "The Game Is Over" et"Use My Voice", ainsi que "Yeah Right".
L'album a été produit par Nick Raskulinecz, qui a déjà travaillé sur leur album éponyme de 2011.
